2nd April World Autism Day
Aspect will issue a media release about research undertaken by the organisation and use it as an opportunity to launch the month long activities.
14th April Adult programs expo
An exhibition of programs available for adults with autism will be held at the new Canterbury Day Program site (Unit 5 186-188 Canterbury Rd, Canterbury) from 10 am til 2pm. On display will be our specialised programs, including art, music, assistive technologies, dance and drama. For more details, call 02 8977 8322.
16th April Aspect research forum
Aspect will hold its second full-day Research Forum at the State Library of NSW. The cost is $50 to cover administrative costs. The forum is open to the broader community having attracted a number of professionals and academics last time. 19th – 25th April Painting the spectrum
An art exhibition titled ‘Painting the Spectrum’ will be held alongside Stephen Wiltshire’s exhibit at Customs House to showcase the artwork of those involved in the Aspect Community Participation program and also featuring for the first time, some artwork from Aspect schools.

27th April Aspect Albury Wodonga opening
Join the celebration of the official opening of Aspect Albury Wodonga by Aspect CEO Adrian Ford. This official opening represents an expansion of a variety of services to help fill the growing needs of people in the Albury Wodonga region.

This event will acknowledge the completion of the building project at the Aspect Central School. It will be chance for supporters and families to hold an official opening.

Aspect Adult programs are arranging a picnic as a chance for staff, clients and families / carers to come together and celebrate Autism Month.
30th – 5th April Aspect South Coast School art show
The exhibition to held at the North Wollongong Surf Club is open to all Artists with Autism and is advertised to promote interest. An invitation only opening will be held on the 30th with special guest feature artist, Tim Sharp. (aka Laser Beak Man – www.laserbeakman.com).
