Individual gifts
- $320 will provide a social skills course for one young person with Asperger’s Disorder who is struggling to cope at school or work.
- $100 will purchase books or manuals to guide interventions when working with children and adults with autism
- $50 will help cover the costs of providing an individual session with a specialist therapist for one young child with autism. Even though we receive generous support for our early intervention services from the NSW Government there is still shortfall which needs to be met from fundraising.
- $40 will allow one of our specialist staff to respond to a call to our Autism Information Line.
- $30 will assist us to purchase an educational resource to be used by the children who attend our early intervention groups.
Annual gifts
- $320 pa or $27 per month for a year will provide a social skills course for one young person with Asperger’s Disorder who is struggling to cope at school or work.
- $100 pa or $8 per month for a year will purchase the resources to enable our Diagnostic team to provide an assessment for one young child suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder.
- $500 pa or $42 per month for a year will fund our free Autism Information Line (AIL) for one day. The AIL receives no government funding and last year assisted 3,235 people with autism and their families.
- $800 pa or $66 per month for a year will help us to provide support to one family, struggling to cope with their child’s recent diagnosis of autism, via our “Someone to turn to…”™ parent support network.
- $800 pa or $67 per month for a year will provide our Building Blocks® early intervention service to one child for one year.
