How your bequest will help
Bequests have been and will continue to be an important source of funds for Aspect. Supporters are able to make a larger gift than might be possible during their life time and they provide Aspect with the opportunity to expand services and the confidence to plan for the future. We are truly grateful to those people who have chosen to support us in this way.
We invest much of the funds we receive via bequests for long term growth and security. This means we can continue to provide services to more and more families living with autism.
Over the years income received from bequests has allowed us to develop and implement many exciting and important new programs. Some recent examples are;
- Aspect Someone To Turn To Parent Support Network - this program now provides support and mentoring to over 400 families every year;
- Aspect Autism Information Line - a specialised telephone and email service which provides information, advice and referral to over 5,000 people annually;
- Major projects such as building new school classrooms and refurbishing our existing school buildings. We have 700 children enrolled in our school system.
