The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is rolling out across Australia and you are encouraged to contact the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to find out more about how the scheme can help you and your family. Their website is www.ndis.gov.au or phone number is 1800 800 110.

The following Local Government Areas are now closed to new HCWA applications: Newcastle, Maitland, Lake Macquarie, Lithgow, Blue Mountains, Hawksbury and Penrith. For more information about the roll out dates please see our frequently asked questions sheet here.
The Department of Social Services also have further information about the roll out and you can see that information here.
