What is this research study about?

This study aims to understand the reaction (fear, apprehension, anxiety, etc.) towards, and coping strategies concerning the current Covid-19 epidemic of autistic children (of any age) and their parents. The study will involve parents from the UK, US, Australia, Spain, Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Australia, France, Italy and China.

Why should I help?

The findings of this study will be used to help us better understand the experiences of autistic children and their parents during the current Covid-19 epidemic and inform the design of future supports to improve the quality of life of autistic children and their parents during stressful times.

Who can take part?

You are invited to take part in this study if you are a parent of an autistic child (any age).

Who is conducting this study?

This study is funded by Swiss Distance University Institute and the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Researchers from a number of international institutions around the world are working on this project, including Aspect.

What will I be asked to do?

As a parent, you will be asked to complete an online survey.

When and where?

The online survey can be completed anywhere at a time convenient for you.
