Aspect Capable School Leaver Employment Support
Aspect Capable is now offering School Leaver Employment Support services!
Aspect Capable is running a 3 month program for school leavers and young adults, commencing March 2018. The program is specifically designed for individuals on the autism spectrum and involves 2 days per week participation for 12 weeks. This program offers both hands-on practical work experience and autism-specifically designed pre-employment training. Participants will have the opportunity to develop employability and social skills and then put them into practice in a real internship.
Each week involves one day pre-employment training and one day hands-on practical work experience where participants have the opportunity to put their employment skills into practice.
Duration: 3 months from March – May 2018. This is a two day per week program
Location: We are offering this service in both Sydney (French’s Forest) and Melbourne (Northcote). In Victoria, this program will be run in collaboration with EACH.
Funding and cost: Both School leaver Employment Support (SLES) and Core supports (access to community) can be used for this program.
