Aberdeen-Logo
Since 2012, Aberdeen Standard Investments has partnered with Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect). Their support has been immeasurable: from supporting our Early Intervention Readiness Program, kitting out a classroom in our Treetop School in Adelaide to significantly funding our brand-new school in South Sydney. Their support has been making a great difference to children on the autism spectrum! We’re incredibly proud to partner with Aberdeen Standard Investments and look forward to keep on working together.
The Athletes Foot Logo
Shopping in a busy environment and facing sensory overload due to a combination of sounds, smells, bright lights and the sheer number of people can be very stressful to a person on the autism spectrum. To create a more inclusive environment in all of their Australian stores and to better cater for people with special needs, The Athlete’s Foot has been working with Aspect to better understand autism and other hidden disabilities and to help create a space where everyone can feel relaxed and well supported. Quiet Appointments at The Athlete’s Foot’s stores can be booked through their SocialQ booking platform and a number of great resources are available to help prepare individuals and families for their appointments and assist with communication during the fitting sessions as well. A wonderful partnership that greatly supports Aspect’s mission to create a more autism friendly Australia.
Experian-Logo
Experian is a leading global information services company, providing data and analytical tools to clients around the world. Their very committed Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and a dedicated team of staff members have been supporting Aspect through countless hours of volunteering, staff fundraising, in-kind contributions and Payroll Giving.
Greater Charitable Foundation Logo
A long standing supporter of Aspect, the Greater Charitable Foundation kindly supported the pilot and roll-out of Aspect’s Early Intervention Readiness Program (EIRP) in the Hunter Region from 2011 to 2017. In 2021, the foundation partnered with Aspect once again, funding a multi-year work education and employment skill program at Aspect Hunter School which provides specialised autism-specific support for our high school students that assists in the transition from school to employment. We are thrilled to have the support and funding from Greater Charitable Foundation to enhance the quality of life and financial independence for our students and wouldn’t be able to run the program without their generous support.
Shoes-Sox-Logo
Taking your young child to have new school shoes fitted can be challenging for any parent, but it can be especially challenging for parents of children on the autism spectrum. And that’s where a unique partnership comes in: Shoes & Sox and Autism Spectrum Australia work together to make trying on new school shoes a more accessible experience. Shoes & Sox offers private fitting appointments before or after hours or during quieter times with staff being trained in providing a calm and comfortable experience to children on the autism spectrum. Thanks to the incredible commitment of partners like Shoes & Sox we get closer to achieving our mission of making Australia more autism friendly.
Wests Tigers NRL Logo
Aspect is proud to have launched their first autism friendly room with the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium in 2018, providing a controlled space for children with autism and their families. This great initiative is active throughout all Wests Tigers home games, making a great difference to families with children on the autism spectrum.
Vuly Logo
Not all partnerships are about money: pro-bono and in-kind support are equally important and have been providing great benefits to our organisation and the work that we do. Therefore we are grateful for the support of Vuly Play and their donation of trampolines for our Aspect schools. Trampolines are a great sensory tool that can be used to support self-regulation for children on the autism spectrum and can be found at almost every Aspect school or service.
