This is a venue that boasts 2 main areas for participants to utilise, along with an undercover outdoor room that has lots of natural light and airflow. There is a projector in the main room, along with a centralised sound system, various seating options such as sensory bean bags, chairs and couches. There are kitchen and disabled toilet facilities.
The Site is located within walking distance of 2 train stations – Auburn and Glenferrie. It is also surrounded by many beautiful parks and cafes.
Here there is a strong emphasis for participants to work on their Health and Wellbeing goals by participating in various activities such as low impact Indoor and Outdoor Exercise programs, Yoga, Meditation as well as various Outdoor Sporting Programs. All of these programs have been designed to enhance participants physical fitness levels, promote a sense of wellbeing and can greatly assist in reducing anxiety, stress and negativity.
Other program options at this site are designed for participants to stimulate their Social and Recreational interests. Programs such as Life Drawing, Clay Modelling and Painting on Canvas are all designed for participants to explore their personal interests while working on improving fine motor skills, coordination and increasing self-confidence. Participants also have the opportunity to work on their social skills and build important relationships with their peers.
Aspect Hawthorn operates from Monday to Friday.
