In response to the continuing threat of COVID-19 and as a precautionary measure to protect the health and wellbeing of our community, Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) has made the difficult decision to postpone our current schedule of face-to-face workshops. We apologise for the inconvenience and we will make every effort to reschedule these in the future.

Please note that the Autism Advisors Free Webinars will continue as scheduled.

Drop-in Sessions

One-on-one chat with an autism advisor, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Scroll down for a list of upcoming sessions. You do NOT need to attend the entire session. You do not need to register, however we do recommend letting us know if you’re planning to come.

Information and support groups

The Autism Advisor Program runs information and support groups for parents and carers of children aged 0-7 years on the autism spectrum. The purpose is to answer questions commonly asked by parents following a diagnosis and to give information about relevant topics, including:

Week 1

Reflections on the diagnostic process

Week 2

What is the NDIS and how to access the scheme

Week 3

Encouraging communication through the use of visual supports

Week 4

Q & A and Continuing the Connection

These support groups are for parents and carers. We also run webinars for childcare professionals.
