Aspect and the City of Sydney are working together to better understand the views of Autistic people who live, work or travel through the City of Sydney local government area.

As part of this work, Aspect will be conducting two focus group consultations:

  • One focus group for Autistic adults on Wednesday 23rd September 1:00pm – 3:00pm,
  • One focus group for parents/carers of Autistic people with higher support needs (e.g. Autistic people who have difficulty advocating for themselves) on Wednesday 23rd September from 10am – 12pm.

The purpose of the group is to ask about lived experiences, challenges and suggested solutions (what could City of Sydney do to be more inclusive) in a range of areas. The group will be led by an Autistic adult, who is part of the Aspect Autism Friendly Australia team.

Participants will receive a $50 gift card for their time.

For more information, or if you would like to apply to participate, please use the forms below.

Applications close on Wednesday 16th September at 5pm and we will be in contact after that date with further information.

Please note: Due to Covid, consultations will be held via Zoom, accessibility accommodations will be made as required.
