Aspect Western Sydney School caters for more than 120 students across the Western and South Western regions of Sydney. The school comprises an administrative base at Wetherill Park which has 8 classes comprising infants, primary and high school. The school has a range of satellite classes infants/primary located at Smithfield, Fairfield West, Blacktown, Richmond and Springwood, with three high school classes located at Marayong, Schofields and Springwood in the Blue Mountains.

The school has three high school satellite classes, one on the premises of St Andrew's College (Holy Family Campus) in Marayong, one on the premises of St Columba's School in Springwood (lower Blue Mountains) and one on the premises of Terra Sancta High (Schofields).

The school's satellite classes also include infants and primary programs within both the Department of Education and Catholic schools. All classes are staffed by Aspect teachers and teacher aides.

Each student has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) and identified priority outcomes may be implemented at individual, small group or whole class/school level with many goals implemented across school/home and community environments.  Aspect’s autism core competency areas focus on Communication, Social Skills, Behaviour and Sensory needs.  All IEP based outcomes are taught in conjunction with the Board of Studies Key Learning Areas: English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Human Society and Its Environment, Creative Arts and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education.

Students at the Aspect Western Sydney School’s Wetherill Park site, have access to undercover and outside play areas with a variety of equipment available. Students can also access the local shops, which are a short walk/drive away and the local parkland reserve for physical and recreational programs.

The school continues to invest heavily in upgrading its computers and IT network across all sites and has installed Smart Boards in all but three classrooms to help further motivate and promote learning opportunities for students.

Classroom staff is supported by a Learning Support Team consisting of the Principal, the School’s Head of Campus’, school Coordinators who form the school executive, School Counsellor (Psychologist), Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist and School Clerical staff.  Each class teacher is also supported by a teacher Aide.

The school has an active Parents and Friends group which organises fundraising throughout the school year.
